Terms of Service
The agreement for using GrowthPilot AI while it is in free beta — what we promise, what we do not, and what we ask of you.

The agreement
By creating an account or using GrowthPilot AI you agree to these terms. If you are using it for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on that organisation's behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
This is a beta — no uptime guarantee
GrowthPilot AI is pre-release software provided free of charge, as-is, with no service level agreement and no uptime guarantee. It may be slow, unavailable, or wrong. Features may change or be removed without notice, and jobs may fail and need re-running.
We may suspend or discontinue the service, or any part of it, at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to give notice and to let you retrieve your content first, but we are not contractually bound to a notice period during the beta.
Do not make GrowthPilot AI a dependency of anything critical, and keep your own copy of work that matters to you.
AI output requires human review
Everything the product generates is a draft produced by a language model. Language models fabricate confident, plausible, incorrect details — statistics, feature claims, competitor pricing, quotes, and citations among them.
You must review, fact-check, and edit any generated content before publishing it, sending it, or otherwise relying on it. This is a condition of use, not a suggestion. You are solely responsible for what you publish under your own name, including its accuracy, its compliance with advertising and consumer law, and any claims it makes about third parties.
Competitor analysis is produced by summarising public web pages. It is an interpretation, not a factual report, and it can be out of date the moment a competitor edits their site.
Your content is yours
You keep ownership of everything you put into GrowthPilot AI and, as between you and us, of everything it generates for you. We claim no ownership over your inputs or your outputs and we do not resell them.
You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, and transmit it to the AI providers named in the privacy policy so that your requests can be fulfilled. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
Two honest caveats. Generated text may not attract copyright protection in every jurisdiction, so it may be harder to defend than text a person wrote. And a model given a similar prompt by someone else can produce similar output, so generated copy is not guaranteed to be unique to you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use GrowthPilot AI to:
- Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
- Produce deliberately deceptive marketing — false claims about a product, fabricated testimonials or reviews, fake scarcity, or content impersonating another person or brand.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, or feed us material you do not have the right to give us.
- Submit competitor URLs you are not permitted to access, or use the service to obtain material behind a login, a paywall, or an access control.
- Attempt to bypass usage caps, rate limits, or authentication, probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission, or automate access in a way that degrades it for others.
- Upload personal data about other people that you have no lawful basis to share, or any special-category data such as health or biometric information.
- Resell, white-label, or otherwise pass off the service as your own during the beta.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or that abuses the free beta's capacity. You can close your account at any time; see the privacy policy for what deletion covers.
Pricing and payment
The beta is free. There is no checkout, no payment method on file, and no way to be charged today.
Paid plans are planned. When they exist we will publish prices and you will have to actively choose a plan — we will not convert a free account into a paid one automatically, and continued use of the beta will never be treated as agreement to be billed.
Third-party services
The service depends on third parties — a database and authentication provider, AI inference providers, and a hosting platform. Their outages are our outages, and their terms govern their handling of data passed to them. The current list is in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the output will be accurate or suitable for publication, or that using it will produce any particular marketing, traffic, ranking, or revenue result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the service — including any loss caused by acting on generated content.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which is currently zero, because the beta is free) or fifty US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits. Consumer rights you have under mandatory local law are unaffected.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from content you publish using the service, from your breach of these terms, or from your infringement of someone else's rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes, and we will move the "last updated" date when we do. If a change materially reduces your rights we will announce it in the product. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using it and delete your account.
Contact
Questions about these terms — including which jurisdiction's law will govern them once counsel has reviewed this document — can be sent through the contact form.
